Friday July 29th 2011 (went to see a movie)

Captain America!

The title of the movie is captain America obviously. Before we(which is me and sue) went to see the movie, we had an AutoCad class. We knew about the movie when miss Tina mention she went to see the movie last night and it was fun. Then me and Sue planned to see the movie after class at 1B.

About the movie
The hero of the story is Chris Evans acts as Steve Roger. He is a skinny young man who wants to join the army to fight the Nazi. But every time he goes for an interview he failed. He never give up, so he tried till 5 times but still fail. One day he went to the city with his best friend, he found there's an interview to join the army. So he try his luck, he shouldn't be trying because he lied his previous 5 test before, he saw the notice "false info will be caught". When he saw the notice he quickly pack his things, suddenly a scientist came in. The scientist ask him a few question and offer him to join the army force. He joined and went to the training camp. He was the smallest man on field, but the scientist knows that he is the best choice for his experiment. The man ask the scientist "why me?" the scientist said "only the weakest knows the value of strength".

The day has come for his experiment, he will be tested with the serum created by the scientist which will make him bigger and stronger. After the process every one was shock, it was a great success. The man who is skinny and weak is now become tall and very muscular. At this part, i miss the whole movie because i had to go to the washroom. 15 minutes at washroom! After finish with the washroom part, the movie began to be boring. so i slept till the movie ends. LOL what a waste. Then we went back home. THE END.

20th of June, 2011 - A Picture Paints A Thousand Words Story

Our 1st assignment for this day.
The story of the bicyclist and the photographer.

The story is about a guy name Yayao Hsueh who was on the train with a lady name Nashim. They don't know each other, so they do their own things. When she left the train, she forgot to bring her digital camera on the train. Yayao saw it and took it with him. He was curious about the camera that he found when he arrived at home, so he checked the camera and found his picture taken from the train while he was looking outside the train. He was surprise and found out more about her by viewing her picture, he knows that the lady's name is Nashim and was about to leave to Boston. He decided to find the lady. He found a picture taken with a background building which he knows somewhere around there. At last he found her house and found out she has left and heading to Boston.Yayao take a picture of himself and write down his number to deliver the digital camera to Boston which the receiver is Nashim.
____________________________________________________________
This is the end of the video shown to us. But miss Freda wants us to make our own conclusion of this story.
I have mine here.

Yayao was stupid because he didn't even know where she leave at Boston. So the packages wasn't going anywhere, it was rejected while handing it to the post office. He began to be frustrated, cause he never had a girlfriend before, so he missed a lifetime opportunity. The next day, he decided to go to Boston and try to find her, no matter what he'll find her. He stayed on a motel at Boston for several days, After days of searching, he realize that it a waste of time chasing someone you don't even know, he gave it up. Then on his way back to his home, he was on the same train. And then, it feels like Dejavu, cause all the situation feels like the same again. But now the lady in the train was not the same. It was freaky cause she left her digital camera too!! And he found out he's picture was taken too!! He went back to his home and kept thinking, is it a ghost? Then he burn the digital camera and never again went to the same train station.

THE END!

Architecture Design

When I browsed through google for some interesting facts on architecture, I stumbled upon this gigantic house, with a distinctive design, and it is located in my current city, Kuala Lumpur. The scale of the house is already enormous, overwhelming the other bungalows surrounding it in a housing area at Damansara. The unique design further differentiate this building with other typically-designed houses surrounding it. This really stands out…YTL Residence

If you don’t know, YTL stands for Yeoh Tiong Lay, and he is one of the richest men in Malaysia. His main company, YTL Corporation is one of Bursa Malaysia’s largest companies. The residence is the ultimate expression of the taste, influence and industrial-scale capabilities of the prominent family whose entrepeneurial activities have shaped Kuala Lumpur’s skyline for many years. The house is designed by Paris-based agency, Jouin Manku and is completed in end of 2008.

Three generations of the prominent family inhabit the 3000 square-meter residence designed to accomodate both private and public functions. The building includes nine bedrooms, two family rooms, a family kitchen and a private dining area, a family library, a game room, a study room, a public reception area, a formal dining room, a ballroom, a chapel, twenty-one bathrooms, a swimming pool, two guest suites plus indoor private and guest parking.

The initial sketches exploring the owners’ usage requirements reveal resemblances to the boring stacked-boxes look still so ubiquitous in residential architecture. While traces of the ‘heaped trailers’ syndrome remained in the finished building, this is not the Jetsons, neither are we looking at Epcot, Tomorrowland or the 1964 New York World’s Fair.
